Angel.com, Leading Provider of On-Demand Call Center and IVR Solutions, Names Telecom Industry Veteran Dave Rennyson New Vice President of Sales

McLean, Va. (PRWeb) February 6, 2007 -- Angel.com, a leading provider of on-demand call center and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) solutions, today announced the hiring of Dave Rennyson as its new Vice President of Sales. A 16-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, Rennyson has experience in team building, launching new companies and improving operational performance across multiple disciplines.

Rennyson comes to Angel.com from Spirent Communications, where he held positions as both Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of Sales. As VP of Marketing, Rennyson developed and launched Spirent's IP services, field force management and DSL solutions. As VP of Sales, he formulated account strategies and designed solutions for large telecommunications carriers including Verizon, BellSouth, Cincinnati Bell, TelMex, and Puerto Rico Telecom.

At Angel.com Rennyson will lead the company's aggressive sales initiatives, with a focus on growth in the enterprise market; while also managing the company's talented sales team.

Prior to joining Spirent, Rennyson was Vice President of the Network Construction and Implementation Group at Zephion Networks, Inc., where he helped lead the company's business development and strategic alliance efforts. He also oversaw the operation of a national OC-12 network, and backbone hubs spanning 28 cities across the United States as well as the construction of metro fiber networks. Previously, Rennyson served in a variety of capacities at Verizon, including Director of Operations. His extensive experience at the carrier included creation, direction, and management of various staff and operations organizations, from technical support, network switching and installation to customer service and operations support systems.

Rennyson received a Bachelors Degree with honors in Economics from James Madison University. As a Rotary Scholar, he completed his Master's Degree of Science in Information Technology at the Engineering and Computer Science Colleges of University College, London; and Rennyson also earned an MBA with honors at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
